'Twas a chillin' night at a palatial pad belonging to one of Pixie's many fake friends. Just a few chicks gathered around the glass table, snorting and gossing--alas, not playing much mah-jongg, as these babes are way too young and tirelessly cool for that.

In any case, my dilated eyewitness has run around with Pixie and her pals for a long-ass time, and she offered her interpretation: "I don't think she was just screwing around. I think she's gay and repressing it."

Whatever happened to making your own desicions and being your own person? Well both of these girls seem to desperately need positive media attention and they think charity is the way to do it. Unfortunately, it really doesn't mean anything if it's not coming from the heart and it's just another fake attempt for publicity. Simpson's charity for Project Smile called her to D.C. last week where she hardly cracked a smile the entire time. I really feel that Jessica Simpson is consisted of nothing but lies. She's such a preacher's daughter.

"When she's not on the movie set, Jessica is working to set up an organization for orphaned children. "I just really want to bring awareness to interracial adoption," she said. "Definitely I know that I will adopt. I want to adopt before I have my own kids."

Sienna Miller headed for a breakdown

'Sienna Miller has been warned to cool it...before she burns herself out.

The blonde beauty was taken aside last week by friends worried about her hard partying.

They fear her recent hectic work schedule coupled with a hell-raising social life is taking a heavy toll.

And they begged the 24-year-old actress - who is enjoying a fling with her latest co-star Hayden Christensen - to try to stop burning the candle at both ends.

Sienna raised eyebrows during her Oscar week in Los Angeles by being a late-night fixture at virtually every party.

There were a series of incidents in which she appeared to be disorientated - including a scene at Chateau Marmont Hotel on Sunset Strip where she embarrassed herself in front of tough guy actor Sean Penn.

Her wild behaviour caused so much concern that a group of friends sat her down and told her she was in danger of going over the top and needed to "pull herself together".

One pal said: "Hollywood is a lot more po-faced about people having a good time than you imagine. It is an industry town and the industry is movies.

"She's partying hard, some of us would say too hard. We sat her down and told her she needed to count to 10 and cool it.

"There was a scene with Sean Penn in the bar where she was being a little too familiar and we knew it was time to have a word."

After the collapse of her on-off romance with Jude Law in January, Sienna vowed to ease back and take stock of her life.

A source on set in Louisiana said: "Sienna was totally absorbed by the part and it was hard for her to get out of character.

So I told you last week that event planner Brian Quintana was granted a restraining order to keep Paris Hilton at least 100 yards away from him. Well I guess Quintana warned Stavros Niarchos (Paris' bf) that the girl has an STD. And the discussion between the two of them was also discussed in court.

Quintana testified last month that his relationship with Hilton turned nasty after she overheard him informing her beau, Stavros Niarchos, that she might have a sexually transmitted disease.

"I wanted him to be aware of it--that she had herpes. To make sure he didn't catch anything. He informed me that he was [aware]," Quintana said.

Since Paul Haggis’s film about race relations won the best-picture Oscar over front-runner Brokeback Mountain, reaction has been swift and vitriolic.
One gossip website declared that the Crash victory had “ushered in Armageddon,” while another online pundit lamented that his love of movie-going had been “irreparably destroyed” by the film’s surprise win at Sunday’s Academy Awards.
“Talk about ruining a perfect evening,” opined Erik Lundegaard at MSNBC.com.
“This is the worst best picture winner since The Greatest Show on Earth in 1952. It may be worse than that. Greatest Show was a dull, bloated romance set against the backdrop of a three-ring circus but at least it didn’t pretend to be important. Crash thinks it’s important. Crash thinks it’s saying something bold about racism in America.”
Over at the gossip site Defamer, www.Defamer.com, writers were declaring Armageddon, adding they were waiting “for the Four Horsemen of the Hacky Apocalypse to gallop through our party and slaughter us.”
Crash toppling Brokeback Mountain is hardly the first Oscar upset.
So why the harsh reaction?
Maclean’s film writer Brian D. Johnson speculated the brouhaha has erupted partly because the public got swept up in the political significance of Brokeback Mountain, and expected that the story of two gay cowboys would be a shoo-in.
“It is interesting that Brokeback Mountain became associated with an issue as if it were a message movie. If you watched the movie, it’s anything but a message movie,” he said.
Johnson also noted that Crash goes against what the public thinks Oscar voters will like.
“Crash is the only non-period film that was nominated. That violates a basic tradition of period films being much more favoured by voters.”
He said he wasn’t all that surprised the film won best picture, especially given its subject — a bunch of Los Angelinos caught up in racial stereotyping.
“It was the L.A. self-portrait thing. It got people where they lived. Voters had a visceral reaction to the film,” said Johnson, pointing out that a character in the film is returning home from an awards ceremony when he’s pulled over by police.
Pop-culture watcher Murray Pomerance, who teaches at Ryerson University in Toronto, suggested the public is angry because “Crash is not an incredible film.”
“It’s a competent film. But politically and intellectually it’s full of holes ... The script was underwhelming,” said Pomerance, the author of several film-related books.
“The truth is what we think doesn’t matter at all,” he said.
“(The voters) do not consult with the general public or the critics. This is like an election by a senate where they get to vote for the high secret committee."

Oh my God! Are these people serious? Crash was an AMAZING movie. Upset? The only upset was a rap group winning an Oscar! Screaming "UH! YEAH! OK!" into a mike isn't talent and does not deserve an Academy Award. Puh-leese. These guys won an Oscar? Talk about promoting guns and violence.

The fourth season of the reality show, titled The Simple Life: Till Death Do Us Part,, will air on E! next spring, the cable network announced Monday. "We are thrilled to welcome Paris, Nicole and The Simple Life to E!," said Ted Harbert, the network's president & CEO. The upcoming season will put the former best friends to "the matrimonial test," according to a statement. In the 10 new episodes, the two women will each take turns playing the role of "wife" and running a household. They will be required to perform household tasks such as cooking, cleaning – and taking care of children. According to E!, each family will decide which young heiress is a "keeper." The viability of the series was called into question after FOX announced in October that it "did not see a place" for the show – while the rift between Hilton and Richie escalated. In April, PEOPLE reported that their spat had escalated into an all-out war. "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends," Hilton said in a statement at the time. "Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I'm ever going to say about it." Still, Hilton and Richie remained under contract with 20th Century Fox Television to do a fourth season. By summer, producers were considering new installments that would not require the two celebutantes to appear onscreen together. One idea was to film Hilton and Richie separately as they prepared for their weddings. (Richie is engaged to Adam Goldstein. Hilton, however, called off her engagement to shipping heir Paris Latsis.) No word on whether Hilton and Richie will ever come face-to-face in the new installment.
